My “Art of Brave” book came yesterday, and now every second of down-time, I can’t help but draw this character! The book is absolutely gorgeous - I think it’s one of the most comprehensive “art-of” books produced yet; and the quality of the work is just so top-notch. Everyone should buy this book. I’m so in love with this character design - now I need to find a Merida costume.

You guys, Adventure Time is the greatest cartoon show ever. I love it so much. I also love Pendleton Ward, the creator. But also i love Ryan North (He writes the stories for Adventure Time Comics, but you probably know his Dinosaur Comics). So i am super proud and excited to be a part of this Adventure Time Family. By painting this alternate cover for issue #4.
The covers are all great, including one by Penn’s mom with a dancing heart dude.
